Bible Prophets were direct communication between humans and God. Bible prophets spoke directly to God and served as mediators and told people what God said. Then when Jesus Christ was born he became the mediator and still is to this day. Jesus can take all of our sins and forgive them, he can talk to us through The Bible, and we can talk to him through prayer. Jesus takes care of our sins because he loves us, if it were not for him dying on the cross we may never be close to God. Jesus is the bridge from man to God, this was a road that was there in the Garden of Eden, but this road collapsed when humans chose Sin over God through temptation from the Devil. This separated us from God and Jesus, God's only begotten Son restored that bond between us and the Father who is in Heaven. If we believe in Jesus and trust in him and ask him for forgiveness we will go to Heaven with Jesus the Savior and God the Father.
Prophets delivered their message to the people through various means, including verbal communication, writing, symbolic actions, and visions. The major task of a prophet in the biblical context is to deliver messages from God to the people, often calling them to repentance, faithfulness, or obedience. Prophets also foretell future events and provide guidance to the people based on their messages from God.
In many religious traditions, prophets are believed to have been chosen by God to do His work, rather than volunteering for the role. Prophets are seen as having a special connection to God and are tasked with conveying His message to the people.
Prophets
Major prophets, such as Isaiah and Jeremiah, wrote longer books in the Bible, while minor prophets, such as Amos and Micah, wrote shorter books. Major prophets addressed bigger themes and events in Israel's history, while minor prophets focused on specific messages for certain times and places. Both major and minor prophets were chosen by God to deliver His word to the people.
Judges in certain cultures and contexts may be seen as prophets because they have the authority to interpret and apply the law, similar to how prophets have authority to deliver messages from a higher power. Both judges and prophets are expected to provide guidance, wisdom, and insights to guide their communities in making decisions and resolving conflicts.

In the Bible, the distinction between Major and Minor Prophets is based on the length of the prophetic books rather than the significance of the prophets themselves. Daniel is considered a Major Prophet not necessarily because of his qualifications, but because his book is longer and more extensive in content compared to the books of the Minor Prophets. Similarly, Hosea and Zechariah are classified as Minor Prophets because their prophetic books are shorter in length. Each prophet was called by God to deliver His message to the people, regardless of their classification as Major or Minor Prophets.
