Many people believe that God sees and knows everything, including our tears. They may find comfort in the idea that God understands their pain and suffering, and is there to offer support and comfort. Ultimately, beliefs about God's awareness of our emotions and experiences vary among different religious and spiritual traditions.
Psalm 56:8 says "You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book." This verse speaks to the comforting idea that God sees and remembers our pain and sorrow.
I have "SI GOD" as my vanity plate on my car and I get questions about it daily. Si is pronounced "see", so "si god" can mean "see god". That is, we need to be able to see God. Where? Everywhere! I work with worship media and I believe some people are visual learners and I help them to see God. Also, "si" is Spanish for "yes". So, "si god" can mean "yes, God!". We need to say yes to God daily. We need to follow our creator.
God cannot be seen by the physical eye. God cannot be found. God has to be realized. God is a power. It is like asking - can we see electricity with the eye? We can't see electricity but we can see the bulb glow because of electricity. We can see the motor turning because of electricity and we can realize there is electricity. So also, those who realize God experience God in all His manifestations. God is everywhere, in everything. Unfortunately, we are trying to find God in a statue, in a saint, in a temple, in a church. We must change our search. We must try to realize God, try to experience God, not try to find God, see God or touch God. God is a power that is within us, we are searching outside, how can we see God?
In the movie "Bruce Almighty," Jim Carrey's character, Bruce Nolan, is given the powers of God as a test by God himself. After Bruce complains about how difficult it is to run the world, God decides to give him his powers to see if he can do a better job.
The concept of collecting tears in a bottle has been referenced in various cultures and religious texts throughout history. It is often associated with the idea of divine or supernatural beings collecting and keeping track of human suffering and emotions. The origins of this specific metaphor may be difficult to pinpoint, but it likely emerged as a symbolic way to represent the deep emotional experiences of humans.
If you are a Christian you will see Jesus. If not, you will suffer for eternity. In heaven, there is Jesus and God and there is no tears or pain.
Tears are emotional outburst of feelings. When you pray to God the feelings of love, respect or whatever it may towards God, is translated into tears as a mode of expression of what you have in your heart.
I can see four tears.
No god's tears were rain; the god Re's tears became the first people; and every year Isis would shed a single tear, which would be caught by Satet in her jars, then poured into the Nile. Thus causing the inundation of the Nile.
The cast of God of Tears - 2008 includes: Gabriel Hohmann Roger Margulies Brian Urbiztondo as Blue Boy
Rain is almost like God's tears. But to athiests, rain is like everyone's tears.
David, as a fugitive, asks God to keep his tears in God's skin bottle meaning 'please don't forget me and what I'm suffering'.(Psalm 56:8)And God himself says that he will swallow up death forever, and wipe the tears from all faces (Isaiah 25:8)(Revelation 21:4)
