Kumbh Mela are of four types i.e. Purna (Complete) Kumbh Mela (Every 12 years), Ardh (Half) Kumbh Mela (every 6 years), Normal Kumbh Mela (Every 4 years) and the Maha (Great) Kumbh Mela ( Every 144 years).
