The Bible says their are none good but God Himself. It also says that when a person dies their spirit goes before the Lord. Answer The Bible says our good works are like filthy rags to God. Therefore we have to come to God through Jesus who is the only way to God as in John 14:6. The story is told of a man who wanted to get on an airplane to go somewhere. When he got to the ticket booth, they asked him for his ticket. But he replied, " I don't need one. I have led a good life and deserve to get on the airplane because of that." The ticket agent said, "Sorry sir, but you can't get on without a ticket. Your good life is not payment enough to get a ticket." The same is true of us. We can bring all kinds of things to God instead of what he wants, but we won't get our ticket to heaven that way. God gave us a way to be close to him, and we must use it if we want to please Him and get to heaven. Nothing else will pay the ticket.

There is no such thing as "good people" because we ALL have sinned.
Good works won't get you to heaven, there is a biblical story of rich men who gave tons of money in the offering, just to show off. Then a poor woman just gave one coin. Who gave more? The woman because her heart was right.
"I am the way, the truth and the life. No one can come to the Father except through Me." -John 14:6
Therefore, JESUS is the answer, not good works.
Confess your sins, repent, ask Jesus into your heart to get saved.
