It's fulfilling Bible prophecy. And by the way, the New World Translation of the Bible is not altered to fit Jehovah's Witnesses' beliefs. There are many credible resources that aren't even part of their religion that studied the translation and agree that it is the most UN-ALTERED form of the original manuscripts. This is such a ridiculous question, I am not sure it deserves a response. Alll I can say is, "WHAT?" ANSWER Jehovah's Witnesses do not "prey" on anyone. The word is heavily negative and implies that Jehovah's witnesses systematically take advantage of and harm young people. This is far from the truth. Firstly, Jehovah's Witnesses to not 'target' any age group, nation or race. They preach to everyone, in every home, in every street all over the world. Secondly, their message is not harmful. They teach the bible and encourage all to put the bible into practice. So, no Jehovah's Witnesses do not "prey" on anyone.

Well, Jehovah's witnesses try and follow the early Christians (Jesus, and his followers) as close as possible. Jesus has friends and even God (Jehovah) had made friends with people on earth, God made friends with Abraham. There are MANY examples in the bible of people having friends.... Why would Jehovah's witnesses not have friends? Jehovah's witnesses enjoy getting together with friends, and going out together, they consider their friends, as if they were family. OF COURSE they do! There is NO where in the bible that say's 'Thou shalt not have friends'.
