HIJAB provides a safe and secure situation for women to work and have effective role in society. They regard HIJAB as immunity not limitation. They see that with HIJAB society does not look at them just as pieces of beauty but honors them because of their reason, knowledge and skills. Just a cursory glance at surveys and statistics about sexual harassment that took place at work places, faculties and schools in western societies confirm that the only solution is HIJAB.
Islamic people think that women should not expose themselves to others in public.

Yes that is true at the top. Second is that it would protect a women from other men, like in the West women expose their body wearing short skirts and tops, which will lead to sexual attraction from men. (and maybe rape). While if a women is covered they having nothing to show and it will not attract a man neither will they (male) have sexual attractions. Third is that you should only show your beauty to your husband and not to any other male, they (any other male) don't need to know, your Husband in Islam is your Guardian.
The Qur'an lays down the principle of the law of modesty. In Surah 24: An-Nur: 30 and 31, modesty is enjoined both upon Muslim men and Muslim women 4:
Say to the believing men that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty: that will make for Greater purity for them: And God is Well-acquainted with all that they do. And say to the believing women That they should lower their gaze And guard their modesty: and they should not display beauty and ornaments expect what (must ordinarily) appear thereof; that They must draw their veils over their bosoms and not display their beauty except to their husbands, their fathers, their husband's fathers, their sons, their husband's sons, or their women, or their slaves whom their right hands possess, or male servants free of physical needs, or small children who have no sense of the shame of sex; and that they should not strike their feet in order to draw attention to their ornaments.
Men in Islam do not cover their heads during prayer. Women do so to cover their hair.
Not all Muslim women cover their faces, but most of them cover only their hair. Of course, if you want to be a Muslim, you have to follow the teaching of Islam, the Islam asks women to at least cover their hair.
it affects them by having them wear a head scarf and cover up there body.
Women should cover up, in gatherings no free mixing of men and women. Emphasis on marriage, strictly no relations before marriage.
Assalaam Alaikum yes, women do have to cover their hair in Islam. Women in Islam are highly respected figures. They must cover their hair to cover their beauty. Other women as well as her father, her brother(s), and I believe her uncles as well, can see a woman's hair, but all other men cannot. The only other man that can see a woman's hair is her husband.
Because Islam is a religion in which modesty is encouraged very much.......and so, guarding of the modesty is naturally crucial too. In order to keep themselves unattractive to lusty men, women in Islam are encouraged to cover their hair, as hair is one of the parts of a women that make her look attractive, and not only are women required to cover themselves up, but men too are supposed to cover themselves, atleast from above the bottom-private part, till below their knees. But it's obviously better for men to not leave their tops uncovered though. Hope could answer your question!......:)
To cover there self , you should go search more stuff about Islam , and youll see why .
This is incorrect. Girls are not viewed as evil in Islam. They are supposed to cover up for the sake of their own modesty.
Because in the religion of Islam, they have to cover their heads once at a certain age and they can show respect and love to their religion and Allah if they wear the Niqab which is what Muslim women wear to cover their faces.
In Islam both men and women are to dress modestly. There is nothing in the Qur'an about women needing to be accompanied by a man at all times or that she must cover her face. These are cultural practices.
Clothing in Islam. It is very basic. Women are not allowed to wear tight fitting clothing. They cannot dress up as men. Instead they have to cover their hair, neck and wear a religious dress(Abaya, Burkha, Jilbab). This is a must. To cover their face is optional. Men cannot wear tight fitting clothing. They cannot dress up as a woman. They must not look at women. The first time they look is allowed but the second time is not.
muslim women cover their body by wearing burqa/ fardha/ abaya. for covering hair they wear hijab. islam doesnt compel muslim women to cover their face , but it is liked by allah. the reason for covering is to prevent sights from stranger men
