I think they believe in the Buddha like the Chinese
The Buddha said that people do not have to believe in gods to receive enlightenment, but that they can believe in gods if they wish to do so. Thus, the is that the Buddha did not find out about God at all. However, he would have approved of people believing in God, provided that they exercise tolerance towards those who do not.
The answer is Buddhism. It believes in the teachings of the Buddha.
Budha is not a God he was a Prince of ansient Hundustan(India) his real name was Siddhartha Gautama.(c. 563-479 BC), he become a first teacher of non violence. As Buddha was a real person anyone can believe in him. As the belief in god(s) is a matter of personal choice some people believe in god(s) and some don't.So the set of all people who believe in Buddha would include parts of the set of people who believe in god(s).Whether there is a set of people who consider themselves to be Buddhist (as opposed to those who believe only that there was a historic Buddha) who also believe in god(s) (which is contradictory to the teachings of Buddha) is not possible to determine from any existing information.
The short answer is no. The long answer is that The Buddha is not a god and us Buddhists do not believe in sin. We believe that people can do unmoral things but sin is a god-based concept and Buddhists do not believe in any omnipotent god or gods.
They don't believe in a God. They follow the teaching of Buddha but they don't worship him.
no buddist dont have a god they believe in the buddha also known as siddhartha guatama
Buddishists do not belive in one god because they have more than one symbolAnswer:Buddhists believe in Buddha in the same way that Americans "believe" in George Washington" , not in the way that Christians "believe" in Jesus. The Buddha is a historic figure who solved the problem of suffering and proposed a route to enlightenment. He is, however, a man not a god.
We, the Greek Orthodox believe in God, we don't make up things, we believe what is TRUE..... we believe the original things..... etc... Buddhism is all about peace, charma, nature, and stuff like that...... they believe in buddha's, and that ANYONE can become a buddha...... they have many buddha's, but we only have 1 God, and that's just the basics...
Buddhism has no god, they just believe in Buddha as the first man to become enlightened. Buddha himself indicated that deities have no role in achieving enlightenment.
He was a very important god after he was dead.
The Buddha held that it was not necessary to believe in gods in order to achieve enlightenment, but that his followers could believe in gods if they so wished. A great majority of Buddhists do believe in a creator god, whether the Abrahamic God, or another. It is certainly acceptable within some schools of Buddhism for their followers to believe in God, as the world's creator. ~That's correct. :-) I am a Buddhist, but I still believe in, love, and accept in my heart God. ^_^
