The ancient Canaanites worshipped much the same gods as did their Israelite cousins, except they appear not to have worshipped the Hebrew God, Yahweh. We know they worshipped Ba'al, Moloch, Tammuz (the shepherd god), the sun god, the moon god, Astarte, Asherah and many others.

AnswerApart from archaeological finds, some of the gods of Canaan can be deduced from The Bible, since the Israelites seem to have worshipped the same gods as their Canaanite cousins. The gods include Ba'al, or Ba'al Hadad, Dagon, Kotar, Mot, Yamm and the goddesses Anat, Astarot, Astarte (Ashtoreth) and (or) Asherah. Names sometimes evolved over time, and sometimes gods or goddesses merged into a single god or goddess.
