Amun, also Amon, Amen, Ammon was thought of by the Ancient Egyptians and those practicing Kemetic Orthodoxy today as the primeval god, far removed from the earthly plane. He is a supreme god, not concerned with the daily affairs of mortals or other deities, but the creator of all.
