The early lord of heaven and earth in many mythologies is often considered to be a supreme deity or god figure, such as Zeus in Greek mythology, Odin in Norse mythology, or Shangdi in Chinese mythology. These figures were believed to be responsible for creating and governing the heavens and the earth.
Zeus.
it's the Lord's prayer..god's will be done here on earth as it is in heaven..matthew 6 :9-13
The Lord created The Earth. The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by hands.
Heaven is often thought of as a spiritual realm where one's soul goes after death, while Earth is the physical world where we currently live. Heaven is typically seen as a place of eternal bliss and peace, while Earth is where we experience the challenges and joys of life.
On Earth? Worship. After death? Heaven.
To say the Lord's Prayer, you recite the words: "Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven..." and so on.
When Our Lord told Peter, "I will give to thee the keys of the kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound also in Heaven. Whatever you loose on earth shall also be loosed in Heaven."
It is basically a way of saying that we want what God wants. We say 'as it is in heaven' because God's will is done in heaven. Is God's will not being done on earth, also? Who's will is today?
God is the Creator of Heaven and Earth. Everything comes from the Lord. He is omnipotent, Omnipresent, Holy and the source of everthing.
they both mean the same thing and you spelled it wrong. in the being God made the heavens and the earth, you put that. its supposed to be in the beginning God made the heavens and the earth.
