Hertept is an ancient Egyptian Goddess, who's twin essence or goddess is named 'Heptet'.

Hertept is a snake headed goddess of the underworld. She is often depicted as the same image as Heptet, with a snake head and holding swords. She is the protector of Osiris mummy, defending him from his enemies, mainly Seth. Though, more often then not, Hertept is depicted simply as a snake sitting under, before or behind the throne of Osiris
