The Eucharist can be Consecrated by any Validly Ordained Priest. Provided that they fall within the bounds of the Catholic Church, or at least within the bounds of Church recognised Holy Orders. This means that Orthodox Priests, Coptic Priests and all Catholic Priests are capable of Consecrating the Eucharist during the Mass. However since the Holy Orders of the Lutheran Church and the Episcopal/Anglican Church are not valid, the Eucharist/Lords Supper does not result in church recognised Consecration.

Christ gave to us the Eucharist. It means his body and blood. Christ instituted the Eucharist through his followers the apostles and the disciples of Emmaus. Today, it is administered by Christ through the priest so a priest gives you the body of Christ in the Eucharist.

The celebrant of the Eucharist is a validly ordained priest (bishop or priest) who acts in the Person of Christ the Head and in the name of the Church.

This answer is in fact a false answer based upon the doctrine of the church. Ask yourself what Christ is? He is the Lamb of God, the first communion was performed on passover, and properly should be performed in your home on the passover where quite frankly tradition dating back 3000 or so years would dictate that outside of a Levite home there would be no priest present.
