This is debatable. In English, the vast majority of Holy Books have "the" before their title proper. The Bible, The Guru Granth Sahib, The Koran, The Talmud, The Mishnah, The Torah, The Book of Mormon, The Pearl of Great Price, The Mahabratha, The Vedas, et cetera.
In the original tongues, often times "the" is not used, however in their translation into English "the" is.
