Saint Augustine Florida is the oldest European city in the United States. The city was founded by Pedro Menéndez de Avilés on September 8, 1565. Martin Francisco Lopez de Mendoza Grajales became first parish priest of St. Augustine, the first established parish in the United States. Its church records, dating from 1594, are preserved in the archives of the present cathedral.

St. Ignatius was founded in 1641 by Jesuits who arrived on the Ark and the Dove to assist in the forming of a new English Colony. St. Ignatius is located in Port Tobacco, Maryland on Chapel Point road. It remains the oldest continuously serving catholic church in the United States.

Old Saint Joe's, Philadelphia, Pa current building was finished in 1839 which is the oldest original structure/church/building still in use.

Our Lady of Peace in Hawaii is the oldest Catholic Cathedral building in continual use since 1843.

The St Louis Cathedral in New Orleans has been around since 1718 but the current building was finished in 1850 which was 7 years after Hawaii's Our Lady of Peace Catholic Cathedral opened.

There is also The San Miguel Catholic church in New Mexico that claims its origins/founding as 1598, but it too is not in the original structure which if factored in would move the date to 1615 to 1626 for part of the building with additional space added to the original structure until 1853.

These answers are based on the "Church" building not the congregation which would provide a completely different answer!

There are several that claim to be the oldest, such as Old San Miguel Mission, the Catholic Church in Socorro, NM that dates from the early 1500s. Catholic missions were in the American southwest as early as the 1400s.

.

It:s in Saint Augustine, Fla.

.

The following information has been gleamed from Wikipedia:

.

The oldest existing Catholic Church in the United States that is still in use is the Cathedral of San Juan Bautista in Puerto Rico, the original part of the Church was built in 1521.

.

The oldest Church structure in the continental United States is San Miguel Mission which was built in 1610.

.

The oldest continuous use of the same Church building in the thirteen colonies is Most Blessed Sacrament Parish in Bally, Pennsylvania, it was built in 1741.

.

Remember that the original thirteen colonies were mostly founded by protestants, and even in Maryland, which was founded by a Catholic, Catholics did not find exactly a favorable welcome from their neighbors.

This is a guess, but the oldest founded city in the USA is St. Augustine, Florida, so it seems likely that the oldest parish is there.
