They are not for sale. every now and then some religious habits are stolen from Religious articles depots- such as the famous Guild in Williamsport, Pa. and it makes the papers. if they fell into the wrong hands- well there have been fraudulent (nuns) as with other dishonest (charities). it happens. If a nun is in-effect de-commisssioned and leaves the convent- she has to leave her religious costume and probably rings, etc, behind.
