by the acts you do. A lot of people misunderstand the word of God, I believe it is best not to believe what others say unless they can show you where they got their info. So you need to read for yourself. I learned that hadies is just the judgement plate where you go to be judged for your acts on earth. That after you die you are in limbo on earth until God calls for his people. Read the book of Revelation's. But be careful, it is symbolic in allot of ways. Research it not just in The Bible but on-line and at the library and NEVER listen to someone who wants to tell you only one verse and give you what they think it means. The bible explains it self if you read it and allot of it's history has even been proven. Like for example, research on line about Noah's ark. Did you know that it has been found? The tribe that lives at the base of the mountain forbid it to be removed because it goes against their own religion. I do believe there is a higher power and there are many scriptures in the bible saying one day all our tears will be wiped away and there will be no more suffering. Please, just a little each day, just read for yourself. The book of genesis is the most boring but it even speaks of dinosaurs in it. You just have to get past all of the this man was the father of who was the father of who was the father stuff. You decided if you are going to spend the rest of eternity in heaven or hell by every action in your life. God is the judge, but it is entirely your decision, and it is based on both your faith in God, and the works that you have done by that faith:

St. James 2:19-26

Thou believest that there is one God. Thou dost well: the devils also believe and tremble. But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? Was not Abraham our father justified by works, offering up Isaac his son upon the altar? Seest thou, that faith did co-operate with his works; and by works faith was made perfect? And the scripture was fulfilled, saying: Abraham believed God, and it was reputed to him to justice, and he was called the friend of God. Do you see that by works a man is justified; and not by faith only? And in like manner also Rahab the harlot, was not she justified by works, receiving the messengers, and sending them out another way? For even as the body without the spirit is dead; so also faith without works is dead.

This depends on your deeds on earth and how you were in compliance with God commands and guidance as for what to do/say and what you should not do/say and depends on how you committed yourself to ritual worships as instructed by God and His messengers. God is All-Merciful and All-forgiving if you repent after committing any sin and intend not to repeat is again.
