As soon as the Tanakh (Hebrew Bible) was translated (270 BCE) - and every time afterwards, changes were made. The original Tanakh is only the Hebrew text, which has never changed. Translations are never perfectly accurate, especially because the Tanakh contains levels of meaning.

Have Christians considered the Tanakh as the Word of God in the same sense as the New Testament?

The term Tanakh is not analogous (although similar to) the Old Testament, which Christians do consider the Word of God. The Jewish Tanakh is based on the Masoretic Text while the Christian Old Testament is based on the Septuagint, both of which are different versions of the Old Testament books. Due to variation in meaning, Christians hold that some terms have been altered to hide the coming of Jesus. Therefore, newer versions of Tanakh are not to be referred to for scriptural support. The Old Testament, however, does has Divine States except where superseded by the New Testament.

Do Jews use only the Torah or do they read the other books of the Old Testament?

The Torah is primary; and its entire text is read over the course of each year in the synagogue. The rest of the Tanakh (Hebrew Bible) is secondary; only some portions are read in the synagogue. However, the entire Tanakh is taught and studied by Jews privately or in groups, along with other subjects such as Jewish laws and Talmud. It is worth noting that while the Old Testament and Tanakh are similar, there are several differences between the two texts including: additional books in the Old Testament, additional chapters in the Old Testament, and changed words/translations.

What books of the tanakh are not in the bible?

There is no part of the Tanakh that is not present in the Christian Old Testament (even in its shortest editions). However, the Christian Old Testament has a different book-order and numbering than the Tanakh and does have more content in some books (like Daniel) as well as additional books, depending on the Christian sect.

Who follows the old testament?
