The persons of the trinity were all involved in the creation as described in Genesis 1 and other places.
Jesus is known in many places (including John 1) as 'the word' -it is this word that the Father spoke when He said 'let there be.....' all through the creative process. The Spirit of God, elsewhere known as the Holy Spirit was also present.
Paul in Colossians mentions that ín Him (that is, Jesus) "all things consist (or cohere)". Jesus is thus the one who holds the whole creation together, quite possibly a direct reference to atomic and sub-atomic particles of matter. He thus has an ongoing role which began at the creation.
The three possible roles of the Holy Trinity in creation are:
(a)The Book of Genesis says that God (the Father) alone created the world.
(b) The Book of Proverbs says that Lady Wisdom was with God when he created the world, and does not mention anyone else.
(c) There is no scriptural support for the existence of the Holy Trinity.
Scientists now know that the origin of the world and of living things is quite unlike the biblical story. Stephen Hawking (The Grand Design) says that because there are laws such as gravity, the universe can and will create itself from nothing. In the same way, the world we live in came about as a result of the laws of nature, as did the evolution of all living species.
Christians believe that the Trinity as God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit have existed eternally. The Trinity was therefore present at creation.
There is no mention in The Bible of any role for the Holy Trinity. In fact, there is no mention at all of the Holy Trinity. The "Johannine Comma" (1 John 5:7) refers indirectly to the concept of the Trinity, but this verse was not in the earliest Greek manuscripts until it appeared in a Latin copy in the fifth century. So if the Holy Trinity really does describe the nature of God, then Christians were not inspired to understand this until around the beginning of the fourth century.
If the Holy Trinity really does describe the nature of God, then it probably did have a role, unknown to the authors of Genesis, in creation. We can only speculate what this was.
The Scripture never speaks of a 'Holy Trinity' which is a manmade attempt to define the God beings begun in the 4th Century A.D.. If we allow the Bible to interpret itself we soon discover that there are currently 2 divine beings that created everything seen and unseen. In Genesis 1:26, the phrase 'Let Us' which is clearly plural is the term 'Elohim' in Hebrew and is often referred to as the Majestic Plural. Now if we go to John 1:1-4, the Bible defines who these divine beings are - the God and the Word or Logos God who would become Jesus, the Christ:
John 1:1-4New King James Version (NKJV)The Eternal Word1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.
Because God revealed to us in Genesis that He created everything. He is the Trinity, so creation is the work of the Trinity.

The Bible does not mention angels having ANY role in the creation of man. The Lord created man Himself.
The Trinity is understood to have created humanity out of love and for the purpose of sharing in a relationship of love with us. Creation reflects the overflowing generosity and creative power of God.

The Holy Spirit (Holy Ghost) is part of the Trinity (Godhead). The Holy Spirit was involved in creation just as rest of the Trinity. The Holy Spirit also put fire on the disciples but they were not burning. The Holy Spirit is one part of the Trinity, there are two more. There is Jehovah (God the Father) and Jesus ( God the Son).
