The earliest gospel and source for the later gospels, the Gospel of Mark, reports no reaction by either John the Baptist or the crowd who saw the baptism. This is not surprising, because Jesus had not yet performed any miracles and John did not know that Jesus was the messiah he prophesied. Only Jesus saw the heavens open and a dove descend on him. Matthew's Gospel says that John the Baptist realised who Jesus was, and forbade him to be baptised, but Jesus insisted. Again, there was no reaction from the crowd. Luke's Gospel says that John the Baptist was the cousin of Jesus, but does not report any reluctance by John to baptise Jesus. There is no reaction by the crowd. John's Gospel, which portrays Jesus as God, does not actually report whether he was actually baptised, but this is implied. There is no reaction of the crowd reported, but this time John actually saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove and knew it was Jesus.
I personally could find no record of the crowds reaction to Jesus' baptism in the four Gospels. It is stated however in at least three of the Gospels that the Heavens opened up when he was baptized so one could safely assume that the surrounding crowd of people were fairly amazed to say the least.
The crowd was just ordinary people who followed Jesus. Jesus had been addressing the scribes and pharisees when a man from the crowd asked Jesus to settle a family dispute. Jesus told the parable as part of His reply to the man.
The Romans did not view Jesus as a political threat. It was the Jewish priests who saw Jesus as a threat. When they presented charges of sedition against Jesus to the Roman governor he did not believe these charges and thought that he was innocent. He tried to save Jesus, but was forced to sentence him to death by the crowd.
He was told to carry the cross for Jesus.
well where do we start. u start to stroke it then rub it then wash your grandmas hair before and.............after tht i I SAW JESUS IN A FREGIN TANK AAAAAA I SAW JESUS I SAW JESUS HONESTLY I SAW JESUS I SAW JESUS I SAW JESUS IN A FREGIN TANK THEN HE ED HE BOUGHT IT OF A FARMER AND HE HAD A PARTY IN THE FEGIN POOL AND MICHAEL JACKSON WAS THERE AHAHAHAHAHA I SAW JESUS SERIOULY
The sentence is missing a space between "th" and "crowd". The correct sentence should be "Harry saw me in the crowd, but he did not wave."
Everyone reacts differently, but I thought it was a great movie, and allot of people turned to Jesus and God after they saw it.
They wanted to crucify him.
