Muhammad's first job was in the service of his first wife Khadijah, who was a businesswoman. Muhammad functioned more or less as an accountant/banker, monitoring funds given to Khadijah and holding funds for fellow Arabs for later withdrawal.

It was only at the age of 40 that Muhammad had his first experience of divine revelation and became a "career prophet".

he was shepherd and also at that time there was no bank and people who wanted to go travel spent their monies to Muhamamd (PBUH) and he kept monies for them and when they returned he given them back the money so he was know as the trusted Muhammad .

then he was working for a trader woman (Khadija) who then wanted to marry him and they married. when married to Khadijeh one day at age of 40 when he was praying in a cave he heard some voices that was his first revealation and he became a prophet.
