Though prophets are higher than angels, belief in angels is written before belief in prophets. Because, Angels were created before all other living creatures. Therefore, we were commanded to believe in them before believing in the holy books, which came before the belief in prophets; and in the Qur'ân al-karîm the names of these beliefs are given in this succession.
Islam teaches us to believe in the oneness of Allah and not to associate any partner with Him. Islam also teaches to believe in all the prophets, angels and all the books given to these prophets.
Iman is faith. It is to believe in Allah, His Angels, His Prophets, His Books and His revelations. It is to believe in the Unseen!
The difference between "major" prophets and "minor" prophets is, basically, the length of the books attributed to or about them.
They are linked through holy books and prophets. They believe in Almighty God, prophets, angels, heaven and hell, life after death, day of judgement.
The two types of prophets are major prophets and minor prophets. Major prophets like Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel have longer books in the Old Testament, while minor prophets like Hosea, Joel, and Malachi have shorter books.
The three believe in Almighty God, holy books, angels, prophets, life hereafter, day of Judgement etc
The major prophets wrote more chapters and verses as well. Minor prophets like Amos and Micah had small books.
The Wisdom Literature such as Proverbs and Ecclesiastes (Kohellet) reflect the ethics of the Prophets, as they (the Wisdom books) advise against pride, greed, immorality etc.
They are: Books of Law, Books of History, Books of Poetry, Major Prophets, and Minor Prophets.
The minor prophets books are Amos, Joel, Hosea, Obidiah, Micah , Nahum.
Major prophets, such as Isaiah and Jeremiah, wrote longer books in the Bible, while minor prophets, such as Amos and Micah, wrote shorter books. Major prophets addressed bigger themes and events in Israel's history, while minor prophets focused on specific messages for certain times and places. Both major and minor prophets were chosen by God to deliver His word to the people.
