β 12y agoThe domestic cat occurs no where in Scripture. the juvenile story- The Christ Child and the Stable cat- is an unsupported legend. the M- marking, if true, would have only effefected that particular cat.

Apart from all the marsupials, there is no mention of
giraffe
zebra
rhinoceros
cat
hippopotamus
…and on an on

Humans; they are the only animal mentioned in every book.
There are many as New World and Australian animals were unknown in biblical time; but the most famous omission is cats, another surprising missing animal is reindeer - the earliest domesticated species.

I have no idea what animal is mentioned only 5 times in the New Testament. Some animals are never mentioned in the Bible. It seems you have done some research. Why don't you tell us what the animal was?
The only animal domesticated solely for companionship and beauty is the domestic cat. Cats were originally domesticated in ancient Egypt primarily for their ability to control pests, but over time they became beloved companions valued for their beauty and company.

A domesticated animal is one that can become a pet or tamed to live with you. Wild animals like lions can only be tamed, not domesticated.
The witch at Endor is the only witch actually mentioned in the Bible. There are other references to witches but she is the only one mentioned specifically.
