Spiritual Healing is sometimes referred to as "Faith Healing" although this is not strictly correct. Young babies and animals have responded in the past to the ministrations of a Spiritual Healer. At other times, a healing result may occur on someone who has been placed on a healer's "Absent Healing" list, by someone who has requested this. In many cases, the person who may be ill, or has a health condition, does not know their name has been placed on a healing list, so this obviates their knowledge of the fact. If this is so, then faith (on the part of the patient) is not relevant in such a case. "Absent" Healing is easily defined as "healing at a distance" where the healer cannot come to the patient. Animals in particular are very responsive to the special "power" of Spiritual Healing. A more traditional name for Spiritual Healing is "laying on of hands" and this can be carried out by any person who is inspired by the healing intention. In this way, no special training or religious "faith" is needed to gain a positive result. If the healer has a genuine and sincere desire to assist those who are ill or suffering, then in many cases, a patient will respond in a positive manner. Spiritual Healing has a definite set of predefined "laws of operation" although these do not necessarily fit into any "physical" modus operandi, or follow the laws of natural physics as we know them. This is simply because Spiritual Healing (and the results it is capable of in chronic illness and disease) works on a Spiritual level of operation. There are hundreds of well researched cases of so called "incurable" disorders that have been published in various books on Spiritual Healing.
Spiritual healing can help, but it is not nearly as powerful as modern medicine. In truth, Spiritual healing is nothing more then making you believe you're healing, and the human brain is an amazing thing. When we believe we are healing, healing progresses more easily, and while we believe we are not healing, our bodies slow down the natural process of healing.

Physical healing would be like putting a bandage on a wound or having a heart transplant. Spiritual healing would be like praying and getting into a form of mind to heal your body and soul, etc, etc. It's not healing an obvious, physical wound, but "Something on the inside"
