Unfortunately, there is no easy way to remember the gifts of the Holy Spirit. I've listed them here, but I don't know what else I can tell you other then that you can take the first letter of each gift and sing them to a melody you know (like the alphabet or something). That way you've memorized the first letters of each one and can figure out what gift it is. So you know DDFHIKMPW; and then see that F=faith, W=wisdom, etc.. This method has worked for me before and I hope it works for you now.

The Holy Spirit helps people by providing guidance, comfort, and strength in their faith journey. Through the Holy Spirit, people are empowered to live a life that aligns with the teachings of Jesus Christ.
In the Book of Mormon, the "Spirit" is the Holy Spirit or Holy Ghost, one of the three members of the Godhead (along with God the Father and Jesus Christ). Generally, the Book of Mormon will use the titles "Spirit of the Lord" or "Spirit of God". The Book of Mormon also references the "Great Spirit", which is the name used by some Lamanites when talking about God, a tradition which most of them were unfamiliar with. When the word "spirit" is not capitalized, it may be referring to the spirit or soul of an individual or to one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit (ie 'the spirit of prophesy' or 'the spirit of wisdom'.) Occassionally it is also used in a more general way about the overal attitude of a group of people (ie 'they had the spirit of judgement').
Two common representations of the Holy Spirit are tongues of fire, in honor of the way the Holy Spirit appeared when it came upon the Apostles on Pentecost, and a dove, in honor of the doves that descended on Jesus when he was baptized. Also it is represented in the form of wind.
