The major religion in England is Christianity - specifically, High Episcopalian aka Anglican Church of England.

Around 70% say on census that they are Christian, population church attendance is under 5%. Anglican Church of England is a very 'broad church' and therefore not necessarily equivalent to High Episcopalian.
