You learn about The Bible! You ask Bible Q's and they answer using the Bible. Somtimes they use a book to help study the Bible by topics. on Sundays they also have a talk and then do a watchtower discussion q and a part too
Each convention has a theme, such as, "Follow the Christ". That theme is developed over the course of three days by many different speakers talking on different aspects of that theme. Encouragement is given for individuals, families, congregations to live in harmony with the Bible's message. There are testimonies and reenactments. A dramatized story and baptism of new witnesses (who decided in advance). Attendees will be invited to follow along in their Bible. There is singing and each day is opened and closed with prayer.
And it's the only time that you will see thousands of people all in agreement and happy to be together. We look forward to our conventions as they are like a massive family reunion. The best ones are the International ones where you get to see folks from other countries and all still in agreement despite the tensions in each country. That's the power of the Bible!
Jehovah's Witnesses (I am one) study the Bible. In all reality, if when the Bible is followed, women have many more rights than today's society gives them.
"Jehovah's Witnesses are a Christian denomination known for their door-to-door evangelism, distinctive beliefs such as the rejection of blood transfusions, and emphasizing activities like Bible study and evangelism."
In the Bible in Leviticus 18:9 or somewhere I read, said it is illegal to wear tattos and put cuts cause it shows no respect for life. Answer: Its true that Jehovah disapproves of tattoos however if you already have tattoos when you begin a bible study with a fellow Jehovahs Witness theres not much you can do about it. But once becoming or having a bible study you should not get tattoos no matter how big or small as it is a sign of abuse of you body that he gave to you and as its perminent you can never remove it.
no
If you wanted to study the Bible in Kuwait, you would need to go to the Jehovah's Witness website and go to the bottom of the page. There you can request a Bible study and someone will contact you. Bible studies can be conducted over the internet as well as in person.
If a person wants to find this out he has to study the Bible and compare what Jehovah's Witnesses believe and do, and he can see for himself if they are the only religion approved by God.
We usually refer to them as a Study, because they are studying the Bible. They can also become unbaptized publishers once they have progressed in their studying and knowledge of the Bible.
No. Pope Benedict XVI is a Roman Catholic and therefore does not study the Holy Bible with those who are Jehovah's Witnesses. Their views are very different.
Well, first you would have to have a free bible study with Jehovah's Witnesses. When you talk to them they'll explain it to you in detail.
the Jehovah witness have other books beside the bible but they all are based on the bible and interesting is that they all say look for it in a certain bible text. FURTHER While, for religious enlightenment Jehovah's witnesses study a number of books published by the Watchtower Society, only the bible is considered divinely inspired. Their bible study aids are merely tools to help them understand holy scripture more clearly.
Actually Jehovah's Witnesses are able to independently research their faith. They encourage their followers to study the bible and their faith as much as they can. Although I am not a Jehovah's witness I was raised in the faith. Jehovah's witnesses receive bible study, they go to 2 meetings a week in the kingdomhall and attend book study. They have a more rigorous study of the bible.
People hate the Jehovah's Witnesses because they were "destined" to, should we say. In the Bible it says that the people of the true religion would be hated and discriminated against. It's fulfilling Bible prophecy. And by the way, the New World Translation of the Bible is not altered to fit Jehovah's Witnesses' beliefs. There are many credible resources that aren't even part of their religion that studied the translation and agree that it is the most UN-ALTERED form of the original manuscripts. Hope this helps. :) Jehovahs' witnesess encourage people to study using their own bible if they are more confortable
