What frameworks do scientists often appeal to when they reject christianity?

Scientists who reject Christianity out of conviction that this is scientific do so from the basis of trusting only one kind of knowledge. That is they trust so called empirical measurable data and what it seems to say about the nature of the universe and mans place in it. What they do not trust is the wisdom of the heart, which is altogether immeasurable but nontheless for millions trustworthy. How to you know if you are loved- you sense it in the responsiveness of the other to you, you cannot predict their behaviour or with any certainty prove it is loving. You know it. Scientists can rationalise benevolent behaviour as having some evolutionary advantage to society and hence self but this does not in any way explain the knowing and the ability to decide to for instance forgive, to bear pain for others or to stand up for justice when injustice seems to reap an immediate benefit.

Drawing conclusions from what appears to be scientific knowledge isn't as smart as it seems especially when it crosses the boundary into the speculative. Also there are thousands of hypotheses in maths and science which come about from intuition rather that reason alone and are waiting to be proved or otherwise abandoned.
