In The Bible, the word vessel means a pot or jar that holds liquid or objects. It also means the human body which holds the 'human spirit' and this can be united/begotten to God's Holy Spirit through repentance and baptism.

1 Corinthians 6:19New American Bible (Revised Edition) (NABRE)

19 Do you not know that your body is a temple of the holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own?
