There are MANY verses in the Holy Quran about the sun, this verse is only one example on them & it talks about the sunlight:
"هو الذي جعل الشمس ضياء Ùˆ القمر نورا وقدره منازل لتعلموا عدد السنين Ùˆ الØساب ما خلق الله ذلك الا بالØÙ‚ ÙŠÙصل الايات لقوم يعلمون"
" It is He Who made the sun to be a shining glory and the moon to be a light (of beauty), and measured out stages for her; that ye might know the number of years and the count (of time). Nowise did Allah create this but in truth and righteousness. (Thus) doth He explain His Signs in detail, for those who understand. "
Holy Quran, (10:5),Yunus (Jonah).
What is miraculous in this verse is the scientific fact that the sun is shining by itself ( A source of light) which comes from the Arabic word ضياء, while the moon is not shining by itself but by the reflected light on it (which comes from the Arabic word نور ). The word "ضياء" which is used for the sun & the word "نور" which is used for the moon assures that.
This is one of the scientific miracles of Quran. It shows that the sun light is originated from the sun itself but the moon light is not and comes from outside the moon. This scientific fact had been proved only recently while the Quran was revealed in the period from 610 AD through the year 632. These scientific miracle of Quran are strong proofs that Quran is real God words revealed to prophet Muhammad (PBUH) by God through the Angel Gabriel (Jibril) and not a human text authored by Muhammad or somebody else.
It discourages it
its totally haram
No it does not say in the quran or any hadith
no
it says in the quran that you should be kind to your citizens respect your neighbours and elders near by
eat it when/wherever you see them.
It says namu, namu, namu.
Quran is divided into 114 Surahs. The Surahs are comparable in length to the books of the Bible. Some references translate Surah as 'chapter', so it is correct to say that Quran has 114 chapters.
It's sunlight :)
This is a forbidden act, a sin. Here is an example from the holy Quran:"Do no mischief on the earth, after it hath been set in order.."( English meaning translation)(Quran, chapter 7 , verse 56)
In the 114th verse of the 20th chapter of the Holy Quran.(High above all is Allah, the King, the Truth! Be not in haste with the Qur'an before its revelation to thee is completed, but say, "O my Lord! advance me in knowledge." )Holy Quran,(20:114)
The Quran says do not marry non-believing woman who associate partners with God then it goes on to say that that applies to all non-believing women except for the people of the book (Jews and Christians). That's what's known in the Quranic sciences as the General ruling when it's restricted with certain exemptions. That happens often in the Quran. Read the Quran 2:221 and 5:5. Best regards
