Depending upon the translation used - of which the vast majority do not have the term 'luck,' it can mean a 'charm' or something precious (stone in some cases). In the sense of something meant to be, The Bible usually calls it 'faith' or when considered as a 'probability of an event occurring, it is called 'time and chance.'

The word "luck" is not in the King James Version of the Bible. The concept of things occurring by "luck" is against Christian beliefs, which are that everything is either caused or allowed by God.
