The Oxford English Dictionary defines eschatology as "The department of theological science concerned with 'the four last things: death, judgement, heaven, and hell'.
Since Atheism is the lack of belief in any gods, only the first thing has any relevance. We all die. Remember how it was for you before you were born? Death is just the same, nothing more.
eschatology means the study of "end times"

Eschatology .
Atheists, along with many religious people, do not believe that the end of the world will occur as recorded in ancient texts including the Bible. Eschatology is the department of theological science concerned with 'the four last things: death, judgement, heaven, and hell. This does not necessitate that scholars in the field believe these stories to be literal prophecies. One conclusion that any scholar could come to is that the stories of end times are mythological or figurative in nature.

Atheist comes from "theist," a believer in god or gods, and "a-" meaning not. Monotheist, polytheist, and pantheist have the same root. So atheist means one who does not believe in God.
