In Geeta (2/28) Lord Krishna mentions that from unlimited time, every body was there but was not born. That he is borned and lives for short period only. He will be there for unlimited period after death. Lord Krishna mentions that you get repeated births and deaths. You go to heaven and come back from there after you have finished consumption of your good deeds. But when you go to his place (Paramdhama or ultimate place.) you never returns. He has not said a single word decription about his place. But from his narrations, it looks like ultimate place he can reward to you. He also mentions that brith and death cycle is most fearsome or dreaded.
