I remember having school prayers some 60 years ago. It did not mean much to me because it was not explained to me why we had to say them. "That we were all dependent upon God for our blessings". A lot of young folk think that school prayers are a waste of time anyway, because they get little from them, and they are far to worldly.
Having school prayers will have some benefit to some of the your people, that is if they have prayer at home with their families. I do not think that the effects will be to great. If a young person has a desire to pray they will do so, whether at school or at home, or in the privacy of their own mind..
NO
It means that the school is a Christian school, and that prayer is part of the curriculum of the school. In point of fact it is the most important of all the teachings of the school. Whatever else you learn in school it will not get you to heaven, prayer on the other hand will certainly help you along the way.
