Sins fall off the individual parts being rinsed. For example: It washes away the sins of hand from the forbidden things it has done/touched, the forbidden things the ears have heard, the forbidden things that the mouth have said/ate/drank, the forbidden places the feet have went to/harm it has done....etc.
