Answer

There have been several ice ages, but the most recent one was around 20,000 years ago. The time attributed to the biblical Noah's Flood is only around 5,000 years ago (based on biblical genealogies from Noah down to the time of Jesus), so it could not have been before the last ice age.

Answer

YES, I think it was around the same time. Noah's Floodoccurredmore than 5,000 years ago. However, the Jewishcalendarbegins in year one when they received the Torah on MountainSinai after escaping their slavery in Egypt, which was little over 5,000 years ago close to 6,000. Just like modern day, we are in year 2013 because we started counting when Jesus died. If we started counting from Adam & Eve we would be in year 2. something billion.
