These would be Enoch and Elijah

Enoch was 'taken by God' in Genesis 5:21-24:

21 When Enoch had lived 65 years, he became the father of Methuselah. 22 And after he became the father of Methuselah, Enoch walked with God 300 years and had other sons and daughters. 23 Altogether, Enoch lived 365 years. 24 Enoch walked with God; then he was no more, because God took him away.

Elijah was taken to God in a 'whirlwind' accompanied by a burning fiery chariot 2 Kings 2: 11-12:

11 As they were walking along and talking together, suddenly a chariot of fire and horses of fire appeared and separated the two of them, and Elijah went up to heaven in a whirlwind. 12 Elisha saw this and cried out, "My father! My father! The chariots and horsemen of Israel!" And Elisha saw him no more. Then he took hold of his own clothes and tore them apart.

Roman Catholics also believe that Mary mother of Jesus did not die but was 'assumed' into heaven, but there is absolutely no evidence for this doctrine either scripturally or historically.

Answer:

Everyone dies - (Heb.9:27).

The belief that Enoch and Elijah didn't die is a common misconception and misunderstanding taught by modern professing Christianity and... as Jesus would say to the churches: "...ye do err, not knowing the scriptures..." (Matt.22:29).

Nowhere does The Bible say the these two "didn't die."

1) - Hebrews 11, the "faith" chapter, says that: "...Enoch WAS TRANSLATED THAT HE SHOULD NOT SEE DEATH: and WAS NOT FOUND..." (Heb.11:5).

It doesn't say "Enoch didn't die."

In fact... if the churches would read the rest of the chapter, they would learn, about all the people listed in the chapter, which includes Enoch... "...THESE ALL DIED IN FAITH, not having received the promises..." (verse 13)!!!

As stated above... the "first death" is APPOINTED to all men. But, it's the SECOND DEATH that the saints of God (of whom Enoch is one) SHALL NOT SEE.

"...He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches (are you listening, churches?); He that overcometh SHALL NOT BE HURT OF THE SECOND DEATH." (Rev.2:11)

The "second death" is the death one may suffer on Judgment Day if one might be judged "guilty": "...they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hades (the grave) were cast into the Lake of Fire. THIS IS THE SECOND DEATH. And whosoever was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the Lake of Fire." (Rev.20:13-15)

The saints of God, however (among whom shall be Enoch), shall have been resurrected and saved one thousand years BEFORE Judgment Day, when Jesus first returns to the earth:

"...I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the Word of God... THEY LIVED AND REIGNED WITH CHRIST A THOUSAND YEARS. But the rest of the dead (who never knew the Truth of God) lived not again UNTIL THE THOUSAND YEARS WERE FINISHED. This is the FIRST RESURRECTION. Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such THE SECOND DEATH HATH NO POWER, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years." (Rev.20:4-6)

The Bible says in Hebrews 11, that "Enoch died" with the rest of God's "faithful." And that it's the SECOND death that he shall not see, along with the rest of God's saints.

2) - The Bible also says: "...it came to pass, when the Lord would take up Elijah into heaven by a whirlwind..." (II Kings 2:1).

"...and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven." (II Kings 2:11)

It's understandable in a world where all the false religions that teach "going to heaven" as their "goal" in life, that they believe Elijah is up in heaven with Jesus and His Father to this very day. But, that's not what the scripture says.

It simply says that Elijah was taken up "by a whirlwind" into heaven. But it doesn't say WHICH heaven.

The Bible speaks of THREE heavens: 1- within the earth's atmosphere; 2- outer space where the stars are; and 3- the third heaven of God's throne (II Cor.12:2).

Jesus Christ, Himself, centuries later, assures us: "...NO MAN HATH ASCENDED UP TO HEAVEN, but He that came down from heaven, even the Son of Man which is in heaven." (John 3:13)

He is, of course, speaking about the THIRD HEAVEN of His Father's throne from whence He came. So, ELIJAH AIN'T THERE!

Surely, Jesus would know better than any man who is in heaven and who isn't... wouldn't He? Unless, of course, He's a liar.

So, Elijah was taken up into either the first or second heaven - within the earth's breathable atmosphere... or the unbreathable vacuum of outer space! Pick one.

Every day, people are "taken up into heaven" all around the world in airplanes powered by manmade whirlwinds... and they come back down in some other location.

Whirlwinds function within the earth's atmosphere where there are clouds and wind currents... not in outer space. It's only "logical," therefore, that Elijah was taken up into heaven... and set back down someplace else... where he died the death appointed to us all at some later date. Elijah was certainly one of God's "prophets" mentioned in Hebrews 11 (verse 32) who died with the rest of God's "faithful."

Even Jesus died the appointed death at the hands of murderous men. But, He is the only one, so far, to be raised immortal from that death. The rest of us await our turn. And those who are Christ's wait in their graves for Jesus' return... like Enoch and Elijah.

Neither of them were found... like Moses... whom the Lord buried:

"...So Moses the servant of the Lord died there in the land of Moab (Iraq), according to the Word of the Lord. And He buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Bethpeor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day." (Deut.34:5-6)

There is even "indication" that Enoch was murdered by "Lamech," the great-great-great grandson of Cain (Gen.4:17-18)... who also killed his great-great-great grandfather Cain. But, that's another story.

Enoch and Elijah.

"And Enoch walked with God and was not; for God took him." Genesis 5:24.

"And it came to pass, as they (Elijah and Elisha) still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven." 2Kings 2:11. God peacefully terminated Enoch's life, sparing him the pangs of death from either sickness or violence at the hands of his enemies. Yes, Jehovah cut short Enoch's life at the age of 365-quite a young person in comparison with his contemporaries.

Genesis says of the patriarch Enoch that "he walked with God, and he was no more, for God took him." This is in contrast to all the other patriarchs, where the standard wording is "And all the days of Jehosaphat [not an actual patriarch, just a placeholder name] were thus-and-so-many years, and he died." Some people take "he walked with God" as an indication that Enoch was exceptionally pious and devoted, and therefore God allowed him to enter Heaven (or Paradise; not quite the same thing) without having to die.

So that's one.

The other one by tradition is the prophet Elijah. One day Elijah was walking with his protege Elisha, and Elijah seems to have known that something was up, because he asked Elisha "What can I do for you before I am taken from you?" Elisha said that he wanted a "double portion" of Elijah's spirit, and Elijah said "Hey man, that's not up to me; tell you what, I'll leave it to God: if you're allowed to see me when I'm taken then you'll get it, and if not then sucks to be you." Okay, not those exact words, but that was the general gist of it. And a little bit later, Elisha did in fact see Elijah "taken up" in a whirlwind (there was also a chariot of fire and fiery horses involved, so apparently we're not just talking about an ordinary tornado here). This is also taken by some people as an indication that God allowed Elijah to bodily enter Heaven (or, again, possibly just Paradise).

And that's the other.

Another answer:

The school of thought among some men that "Enoch and Elijah" didn't die, stems from a misunderstanding of the Truth of God... the Truth being, that they did die, as all men do.

As men say, "The only sure things in life are death and taxes"... so, does the Bible reveal the Truth of the matter; that the "sure things in life are death and THE JUDGMENT!

"And it is APPOINTED unto men ONCE TO DIE, but after this THE JUDGEMENT: so Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for Him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation." (Heb.9:27-28 KJV)

The cryptic scriptures that men believe to say that "Enoch and Elijah never died, but went straight to heaven"... don't say that at all. Seeing as how the Bible reveals to God's servants the Truth of TWO BIRTHS and TWO DEATHS that men shall face before the plan of God is done -- the study of it also reveals that both Enoch and Elijah suffered the APPOINTED FIRST DEATH that all men do.

When Hebrews' 11th [Faith] chapter says: "By Faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and he was not found, because God translated him..." (Heb.11:5 KJV) -- it does NOT SAY that "Enoch didn't die, but went, instead, to heaven."

The "death" that Enoch "should not see" is NOTthe "first death" that's appointed to all men -- but the FUTURE SECOND DEATH from which Jesus saves THOSE WHO WALK WITH HIM!

"...He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the SECOND DEATH." (Rev.2:11 KJV)

The Bible reveals at the end of God's plan, at the "Last Great Day"... the JUDGMENT will be set for all the generations of mankind who have lived and died not knowing the Truth of God. At the end of Christ's thousand year rule on the earth, they shall "resurrect from the dead" to decide whether or not they should suffer the SECOND DEATH: the death that either Jesus Christ may save them... or from which, if they suffer it, they shall never live again.

The Bible also reveals that a thousand years PRIOR to this resurrection of all the people who met their appointed First Death not knowing God -- the FIRST RESURRECTION of God's servants shall take place at the moment of Christ's return to the earth. These "called-out-ones" of God are the ones who "overcame" the pulls of the flesh and the world, through Christ, and "shall not be hurt of the Second Death."

"...I saw thrones, and they sat upon them [the saints of God whom Jesus Christ shall appoint authority over the nations for a thousand years, as some of His parables allude], and Judgment was given unto them... and THEY LIVED AND REIGNED WITH CHRIST A THOUSAND YEARS. But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. THIS IS THE FIRST RESURRECTION. Blessed and Holy is he that hath part in the First Resurrection: on such the SECOND DEATH hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years." (Rev.20:4-6 KJV)

Enoch and Elijah... like all men who lived in the past... ARE DEAD!

And the "death that Enoch should not see" is NOT the first appointed death... but the Second Death. Because, before he died... it is recorded that he "walked with God."

Jesus Christ, the WORD of God, who was the Creator God of the Old Testament [see John 1:3]... the One who "walked with Enoch" called him out of the world [sanctified him] for His Holy use and purpose... to testify to the pre-flood world of the coming Judgment.

As Hebrews 9 says... Enoch "looked forward to the day when Christ would come for his Salvation." He witnessed and testified of it before the pre-flood generations... a hard testimony that got him killed!

"...Enoch also... prophesied of these, saying, 'Behold THE LORD COMETH with ten thousands of His saints, to execute JUDGMENT upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him." (Jude 1:14-15 KJV)

Enoch "shall not be hurt of the Second Death!" Not the First. Both he and Elijah suffered the First Death appointed to all men... as Hebrews 11 tells us:

"THESE ALL DIED IN FAITH, not having received the promises..." (Heb.11:13).

It's the false unbiblical teachings of the modern religions of the "immortality of the soul" and "going to heaven" that have men confused regarding God's Truth... and about Enoch and Elijah.

Enoch, like Moses, WAS NOT FOUND, because God translated them -- moved them and buried them where no one could find them.

And the "heaven" into which Elijah was taken was the "First Heaven" within the breathable atmosphere of the earth, and set down some place where no one could find him... even though they looked. The heaven where thousands of people go every day in this modern world by modern lighter-than-air flying machines... a feat from which few people today give it any thought, or think it remarkable. Elijah was transported somewhere else on the earth where he later died [the study of the account revealing a letter received from Elijah as many as some ten years later].

Jesus tells us that "no man has ascended into the Third Heaven" of His Father's throne, except for Himself... the One who came from there [John 3:13].

So, if Enoch and Elijah went to the third heaven of God's throne [II Cor.12:2] as some men believe... then Jesus is either a liar, or merely mistaken and doesn't really know, as men seem to, that the third heaven is populated with many, many people from all kinds of religious backgrounds.

Contrary to popular modern belief... the Bible doesn't teach that "two people didn't die." Even the One the Father sent from heaven died. But He rose again the third day. And because of that, the ones whom God has called out of the world "shall not be hurt of the Second Death"... not the first one.

"He that overcometh shall inherit all things [the universe]; and I will be his God, and he shall be MY SON. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the Lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the SECOND DEATH." (Rev.21:7-8 KJV)

"...they were Judged every man according to their works. And death and hell [the grave] were cast into the Lake of Fire. This is the Second Death. And whosoever was not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the Lake of Fire." (Rev.20:14-15 KJV)

There is no one in the Bible who has not died the First Death. But those whom God has called out of the world "shall not be hurt of the Second Death"... in the Judgment. Because they shall rise from the dead in Christ a thousand years earlier.
