Yes, as Jesus told us to do.

A Christian is suppose to be a disciple (imitator) of Jesus Christ - His teachings and His actions. The greatest example of forgiveness then is His willing acceptance of His Father's will that He - the Creator of all things (see John 1:1-4) allows His creation (we mere humans) to mock, torture and murder Him. Just before He died, He asked His Father to forgive us all - 'for we don't know what we are doing.' The ultimate example of forgiveness we are to use.
