Not all. Most Christians do but in order to do Communion, you have to take special classes that are around 3 months long and the Pastor/Preacher teaches the class. The classes are about communion, baptisim, the Ten Commandments etc. and once a person passes all the classes and attended all of them, the then go into Confimation which is a big deal. In confirmation the person has to memorize afew things and then they are confirmed and have their first communion. From then on, in the next church services(Sundays), the person can take communion. Before Confirmation even happens, the person cannot do communion.
Recordings of assemblies are not to be put on the internet for download. They are only for members of the congregation who could not attend.
Haha Of course. Jehovah's witnesses do not throw themselves in getting whats latest and new. So Lambergines are kinda out of the question. But smaller cars like bugs and hornets [not sure if thats what they was called] had two doors, and many of Jehovah's witnesses worked door to door in them.
The Watchtower magazine published by Jehovah's Witnesses is a bible based instructional magazine. It does not contain tabloid style reports, celebrity gossip or scandals.
The 25th of May, and the latest it can occur is the 31st. Because it is the last Monday in May, there are seven or fewer days remaining in the month if it were to fall on the 25th.
ANSWER FROM ONE OF JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES... In the Service year of 2010 the reported total number of people being Baptised is 294.368 (From the 2011 year book of Jehovah's Witnesses). Most of this number would have come from people who were having a study with Jehovah's Witnesses... The Watchtower does not publish the number of people who become Witnesses via Bible study and it is not a statistic that gets recorded. The official website of Jehovah's Witnesses' latest statistics gives a total of 294,368 baptisms. (see link below)There were, on average, just over 8 million Bible studies reported. In my experience most people become baptized as Witnesses after having been born into the religion.
To quote from the Salem-news.com website dated May 12, 2012:"The Roman Catholic Church faces permanent disruption and banishment in at least five countries if it does not comply with ten "non-negotiable measures" by September 15, 2012 . . . . ." etc etc.The link is provided below.Of course, I'm not sure of the validity of this news piece; nor can we be sure if it will actually happen. For Jehovah's Witnesses this is quite interesting, since we have been proclaiming in our public ministry that events such as this will happen, not only to one religion; but to all religions we consider as 'false' religion. But be assured; Jehovah's Witnesses are not involved in such matters what-so-ever. Whether this event will even 'trigger' what we have published for decades, remains to be seen. We simply observe 'world developments' regarding religion; while we keep ourselves occupied with our Christ mandated door-step ministry.
I can't imagine any bill passed regarding the most peace loving people on earth - - other than 'to leave them alone'.
Victoria Day and Memorial day are always exactly one week apart as the latest date for Victoria Day is the 24th (if the 24th falls on a Monday). In such a month, the last Monday of May is the 31st. In 2009, Victoria day is the 18th (today! may two-four!) Memorial Day is in exactly one week, the 25th. This is the earliest either holiday can occur.
