Yes, Christ is the gate to eternal life. Christians believe no man may get there by any other way but by Him.

Jesus says this in John 14:6 "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"

no, you can always ride the imaginary unicorn

Yes, Jesus says so in John 14:6 "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." It also says this in Acts 4:12

"And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." and in Matthew 7:13-14

"Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few."

Yes Jesus is the only way, as per the Bible or the canonical gospel accepted by almost all Christians except by the Mormons I guess, first of all here is how the reasoning goes Q:Why is Jesus the only way?

A:Since in the Bible Jesus says " I am the way and the light of the world " "none comes to the father but through me" . And why are these words true since Bible is the word of God.

But how do we know that Bible is the word of God? In my personal opinion this is where you just have to believe. If you believe that the Bible is the word of God then yes Jesus is the only way. But if you don't then he is not. In my opinion this is just a faith based doctrine.

2nd Answer: Jesus is the only way to God because He IS God. This is a quote from Bruxy Cavey's book "The End of Religion". I believe that this statement is profound!

3rd Answer: Jesus himself said" I am the way, the truth and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me." John 14:6 Could Jesus be a great teacher and a delusional liar at the same time? Is that consistent with His character? Was He who he claimed to be? Please read the discussion for proof that this was actually Jesus' own statement.

Since there may or may not be a "father in heaven' (as heaven may not exist, and if it does, may not allow men to enter it), it cannot be known who and who is not his son.

God from god light from light meaning?

If I understand your question correctly, God is the light of this world as is His Son Jesus Christ. From them comes all knowledge (Light) Precept upon precept, here a little there a little until we all come to an understanding of God and become partakers of his light. Alternatively, if you are referring to the phrase below from the Nicene creed And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, begotten of the Father [the only-begotten; that is, of the essence of the Father, God of God], Light of Light, very God of very God, begotten, not made, being of one substance with the Father; This is a statement of the divinity of Jesus, being of the same essence as God. It denies that Jesus was in any way made or created, even if that "creating" was done by God. Jesus proceeds from or streams forth from the Father, and has always existed.

What is the term only begotten used to describe about Jesus?

Jesus was god's only begotten son that means Jesus was God's only son Answer 2: the use of the word 'begotten' implies an act of procreation beget - To cause; to produce; To procreate; to father (rarely: to mother); to get with child. To be honest, why this term is used in the Bible and Christian creed I am not sure as it seems rather inappropriate and even insulting both to God and Mary.
