Hinduism has introduced meditation, ayurvedic medicine, yoga, vegetarianism, the politics of nonviolence, and philosophies of non-materialism to the world. They teach us to see the Divine within every being. The philosophy helps focus the mind to tap the source of bliss within us all.
It is worth it as in heaven there is no more pain, illness, sorrow , death or suffering or sin , you will live for eternity.
The only thing that anyone can do in hell is to suffer, and that suffering is so enormously more than anything that we can conceive of on this earth, and it perdures for eternity.

Suffering has many associated meanings in English - everything from a paper cut to roasting in Hell for eternity. H.H. the Dalai Lama replaced "suffering" in one of his talks with "unsatisfactoriness" which seemed to make it clearer. This allows smelling a donut, then immediately wanting one even though you are not hungry, to be classed as "unsatisfactoriness" and thus with suffering. In this case you have desire (and a related suffering) for something you don't have and don't need but want. Suffering therefore can be seen as the outcome of any desire, no matter how small.

Eternity - comics - was created in 1965.
Never! It can never be replaced. Once your soul is gone, it's gone. Never is a hard concept to wrap your brain around, as is eternity, I know. Think of it this way though... Pretend that eternity means 100 years. Say you want to be happy so you make a deal to sell your soul for happiness. You are happy for half a second and get to spend the rest of that 100 years in complete misery and torture. Tell me, was it worth it? You will never get that brief happiness back, you have nothing left to bargin with. Was it worth it? No!
