Pretend that eternity means 100 years. Say you want to be happy so you make a deal to sell your soul for happiness. You are happy for half a second and get to spend the rest of that 100 years in complete misery and torture. Tell me, was it worth it? You will never get that brief happiness back, you have nothing left to bargin with. Was it worth it? No!
