Muslims already believe in Jesus (as thaught by Muhammed and Quran) as one of the great messengers of God. Muslims believe that Jesus was miraculaously born to mother Mary with out any male intervention.
Its too bad that we christians have failed to preserve the teachings and message of Jesus. We Christians are so helpless, unguided and totally lost.. all because the powerful emporers and kings of the past (with the help of jews) succeeded in destroying the original books and left us wtih completely distorted books.
May be we should read the message of later messengers of God and find what really God is expecting from us.
Christiane Amanpour is of Iranian/British descent. Her father's name is Mohammad and her mother is Patricia. Although her father has a traditionally Muslim name, her own name is one based on that of Christ - Christiane. Therefore, it is highly unlikely that she is a Muslim by faith. This is untrue, she could be Muslim, Muslims believe in Jesus Christ, so it wouldn't be difficult to imagine to name a child after him.
No.
Mohammad created Islam and claimed to be a prophet. Jesus created Christianity (though I am not sure he meant to since He was Jewish, yet being God, He probably knew it would happen?) and claimed to be God/ God's Son/ Son of Man. Mohammad claims to Muslims to be descendants of Ishmael, son of Abraham. Jesus claims Hebrews to be descendants of Isaac, son of Abraham.
As Islamic Fundamentalists they are still followers of Islam. Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Christ and Muslims do not believe in celebrating the Birth of Jesus Christ, therefore it is highly unlikely that the Taliban Celebrate Christmas
Muslims regard Jesus as an important prophet

Jerusalem is sacred to Jews, Christians and Muslims. Jews: It was the site of the Temple, the holiest place on earth and the capital of Israel as established by King David, regarded as Israel's greatest king. Christians: It was where Christ held the Last Supper, was crucified and rose victorious from the dead. Muslims: It was where the prophet, Mohammad, ascended into heaven for one night in order to meet with previous proophets.
Muslims, Jews, and Christian have the same God (Allah) and they recognize all the prophets who came from the time of Adam. The Jews on the other hand follow the Torah and the Old Testament and did not accept or believe that Mohammad (SAW) was a Prophet as he was an Arab. Christians on the other had believe that Christ was son of God, and some even take him as God. Muslims consider Christ as one of the great Prophets and that Prophet Mohammad (SAW), who came after Jesus was the last and final prophet. ______________________________________________________________ All God prophets are recognized by Muslims; including Adam, Noah, ..., Abraham, Isaac, Ismael, Jacob, Joseph, ..., Moses, ..., Jesus, and Muhammad (Peace be upon them). Christians believe in all God prophets except Muhammad. Most Christians believe that Jesus is not prophet; as Muslims believe; but they believe that he is God or son of God.
No. The Old Testament does not come past 1 AD, the supposed year Jesus Christ was born. Mohammad was born approximately 570 years after Jesus.
The Muslims recognize Jesus as a prophet. They do not believe he is the son of God or that he was resurrected.
