Well, it is God of course! God is in every country and belief system.

Depending on which branch or sect, the Supreme could be Krishna, Shiva, Vishnu, Devi, Brahman. Most Hindus believe that these different names are different aspects of one supreme God.

Brahman - the god of gods:In Hinduism Brahman is considered as the supreme god and thus the god of all gods.

Brahman - The supreme Hindu god:

We use Brahman when conditions for life are ideal.

Brahman is symbolic of pure Involuntary (automatic) force.

1. Since we have an unlimited source of Involuntary force Brahman makes our life absolutely effortless and stress free.

2. Since pure Involuntary force merges all of our activities into a single giant activity called life, Brahman makes our thinking extremely fast.

3. Since practically there is just one activity (life) all decisions are eternally correct.

4. Brahman is the god of wisdom. It selects the best god for a situation and thus makes us wiser.

5. Brahman is the antagonist of fate.

Thus, Brahman should be our default god.

The basic Hindu gods:

The seven Basic Hindu gods represent the seven basic forces we have.

They are,

1. Dreaming force - Indra

2. Illusory force - Shakti

3. voluntary force - Brahma

4. Semi voluntary force - Vishnu

5. Involuntary force - Shiva

6. Status altering force - Shani

7. Compulsive force - Yama.

The basic forces (gods) have various proportions of voluntary force. They come into play when conditions are less than ideal. Indra enables us to spend time in a dream world and Yama, achieve something at all costs. In between the gods enable us to tide over a crisis in more optimum ways.

Once the crisis is over we can return to be under the command of Brahman.

However, we don't do so. We keep making our life better under one set of conditions using these Basic gods.

Disadvantages of Basic gods:

1. The presence of Voluntary force makes the use of these gods stressful.

2. These gods divide our life into infinite compartments, making thinking slow and unreliable.

2. They make our life better under few conditions only.

3. They keep us at the mercy of fate.

3. Voluntary force is transient and gets depleted often. When the voluntary force is depleted, and if the conditions are not ideal for Brahman to take over, our life becomes chaotic. It is for this reason that we wish to attain Moksha and thus surrender to Brahman

The secondary Hindu gods:

These are,

1. The incarnations of Vishnu like Rama, Krishna, etc

2. The goddesses like Lakshmi, Saraswati, Parvati, etc.

3. The associated gods like Ganesha, Hanuman, etc.

We use secondary gods when life is chaotic. They are the most popular Hindu gods.

They don't give very good quality of life because we use them when our life is chaotic.

Many Hindu gods like Shiva and Vishnu, are claimed to be totally independent gods. However, the ultimate of worship of these gods is to attain Moksha, which is the unique property of Brahman.

Thus, Brahman is the god of all Hindu gods.
