SOMETHING THAT MAY SEDUCE YOU TO GO AGAINST THE LAW OF GOD: LOOK AT MARK AND LUKE
As a Presbyterian Minister, I would probably use it as a sermon illustration! But, more seriously, I would use the universiality of temptation as a warning for people to keep up their Christian strength by constant Bible reading and meditation; constant prayer; and constant vigilance. I would also use the old hymn, "Yield not to temptation, for yielding is sin" to remind them that encountering temptation is not a sin; giving in to it is. I all of the above, of course, I am assuming that we are talking about temptation to sin, as opposed to benign temptation.
Temptation is something that seduces the observer. Temptation is something that weakens your will power to resist it. Temptation is something that is normally considered a societal taboo. Temptation is something that causes a shameless response. Temptation is something that corrupts your moral character. Temptation is something that excites lustful desires. Temptation is something that influences your behavior. Temptation is something that alters your thinking process. Temptation is something that changes what you would normally do. Temptation is something that brings guilt and shame after succumbing to it.
I think there is a good old baptist hymn that would answer your question: "Yield not to temptation, for yielding is sin"
