Since Jesus was born a Jew, Galatians 4:4 tells us that he came to be "under law", meaning the Mosaic Law.
Jesus Christ is God/ Son of God. You can't get more religious then that. Jesus was born in Israel to the tribe of Judah and followed the true Law of Moses, but not any of the man made laws that the religious leaders had made up.
Christ taught that love fulfils the Old Testament law.
No. Jesus was Jewish. He fulfilled the Mosaic/Jewish law when he died, so Christianity technically didn't start until his death. When Jesus was alive on the earth in was about 1800 years before the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (commonly called "Mormons") was founded. You can read about the Mormon's beliefs about Jesus Christ at the website provided under "Related Links" below.

Jesus Christ DID NOT abolish Shabbat! He said..."I came to fulfill the Law".
You can preach on Jesus in a church or at a prayer meeting. But you can not do it openly on the road.

Christ had to be condemned to death by Pilate, the Roman governor, because the Jewish leaders did not have legal authority under Roman law to condemn a criminal to death.
As the teaching of Jesus Christ was very simple and easy to follow, and you do not have to do anything like what some people do. They meditate for years under a tree and all that. All you do is read the teachings of Jesus and follow it. Mainly people are looking for peace. The Bible teaches that Jesus was the long promised Messiah (Christ), that is Deliverer. The one who would save mankind from their sin. God in times past spoke through His prophets about what He would do and about this Deliverer. But when Jesus came, God spoke through His Son, Jesus. According the the Bible, Jesus is that Deliverer who came to save mankind from their sin. As children of Adam we are all by our very nature sinners, breakers of God eternal law. We are born that way, no one needs to teach us how to break God law. Jesus came to free us from that sin nature, by His perfect sinless life and death. People still read about Jesus Christ, because as His disciple Peter confessed that He, Jesus, alone has the words of eternal life. Jesus said about His life that He had come that we might have life and have it more abundantly.
The Law of Moses was given as a preparation for the coming of Messiah, which we know now is Jesus Christ. The Law was given to show their sin and their need of a Savior.
The ten commandments were abolished by Jesus Christ death. Matt. 5:17,21,23,27,31,38. "He fulfilled the Law.... Christ is the end of the law. (Romans 10:4) (Colossians 2:13-16)
