According to Sacred texts, Moses lived for one hundred and twenty years and the time period between him and Abraham was five hundred years, and the period between Moses and Jesus was one thousand and six hundred eighty years.

According to The Bible as we have it today, Moses died around 1400 BC. Jesus was born in either 4 or 5 BC. So the difference would be 1396 or 1395 years.

According to Deut. 34:7 "Moses was one hundred and twenty years old when he died."

According to traditional Christian beliefs, Moses lived around the 13th century BCE, while Jesus was born around the 1st century CE. This would mean there were approximately 1,200 years between Moses and Jesus. However, it's important to note that exact timelines can vary depending on the source and interpretation of historical and religious texts.

About 2018 years, give or take a few, passed between Abraham's birth and Jesus' birth. Counting backwards, we can use history and the bible to come up with the following dates:

BC 1 Jesus born (undisputed).

BC 537 captivity ends (undisputed).

BC 607 70 years captivity begins (undisputed).

BC 997 Solomon's 40-year reign ends, 390 years before Babylonian captivity.

BC 1037 Solomon's reign begins in the 480th year after Moses and the Israelites came out of Egypt.

BC 1513 Israel came out of Egypt after 400 years of captivity. Journey took 30 years.

BC 1943 Abraham was 75 years old at the time.

BC 2018 Abraham born 295 years after flood.

You can also figure out the date of the beginning with this information.

BC 2313 Noah's Flood, 1656 years after fall of man.

BC 3969 Fall of Man.

BC 3970 Beginning???

The time of Abraham (in the Bible) was estimated by scholars to be some time between 2000 BC and 1850 BC. Abraham died at the age of 175 years. (Gen 25:7), which would be between 1820 BC and 1675 BC.

Biblical scholars calculated the time that Joshua led Israel into land of Canaan around 1240 BC at which time he would have been around 60 years old (ca. 1300 BC). Joshua died at the age of 110 (Joshua 24:29).

So, between the death of Abraham and the birth of Joshua was about 400 years.
