if you are referring to their version of The Bible it has 77 books in it the Bible though has only 66 inspired books in it these extra non inspired books are not part of the original Bible cannon and are called apocrypha meaning spurious or uncanonical and of dubious historical value and have no solid foundation and appears some 300 years after the last inspired book of the Bible was completed in 96C.E. no reputable Bible scholar or any of the Apostles or especially Jesus him self ever quotes it or even refers to it like he does to the rest of the inspired writings also famous historians and lexicographers such as Origen of the early 3rd century C.E. Athanasius, Cyril of Jerusalem, Gregory of Nazianzus, and Amphilocius of the 4th century did not see them as Sacred or inspired writings and Jerome the best known Hebrew scholar of the early church and writer of the Latin Vulgate 405 C>E> did not include them but concluded that the Holy Writings consisted of 39 books of the Hebrew Scriptures and 27 of the Christian Greek Scriptures and nothing else so be warned against such says Jerome (pixilated)

The Roman Catholic Religion uses The Bible.
There are many religions in Portugal but the most dominate one is Roman Catholic
The New Revised Standard Version of the Bible (NRSV) contains both the standard Protestant canon and the books that are traditionally used by Roman Catholic and Orthodox Christians (called "Apocryphal" or "Deuterocanonical" books).Total of 73 books. In standard NRSV editions, the "Apocryphal" or "Deuterocanonical" books are included in its own section after the Old Testament books, and the Catholic edition of the NRSV includes those books in the Old Testament in the order defined by the Roman Catholic church.
The list of prohibited books was called the Index.
46 books.
I am assuming that you are asking for a list of prohibited books issued by the Catholic Church, not on. Further, it's just Catholic, not Roman Catholic. Roman is an epithet first commonly used in England after the protestant revolt to describe the Catholic Church. It is never used by the official Catholic Church. The last Index of Prohibited Books was issued in 1948 and the entire Index was abolished by Pope Paul VI in 1966. You may see the 1948 Index at the link below.
