Used to be Christianity was spread through word of mouth to spiritually save another. Later many people were forced to be converted through fear such as Native Americans. But now it still retains the tradition of word of mouth, missionaries and even television advertisements.

Cristian and Muslim religion are born in area where not enough pure food available therefore there is not much restriction on food habit while hinduisam has more restriction, more than that later part jainisam came last and had most restriction on food habit because in order to control thought it is absolut necessary. Most nonviolance religion on earth today where they say that you can become god youself (means creater). Old time there is not enough pure food available for everyone.
