This depends on who 'us' is.
God refers to Christians as His children:
Romans 8:16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,
God refers to non Christians as children of wrath:
Ephesians 2:3 .................once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.
26 Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth."
Because they were given by God and are meant to define us as a people (Leviticus ch.11).
Not all believe the same way, so some feel religion helps those define what their exact beliefs of God (or gods) are.
That might depend on how you define "god".
both define as who forgive his/her life for God and protecting Islam.

define an inflationary economy
This depends on your definition of God. Since we do not really know anything about God, even whether he exists, it is certainly easier to define attributes that we believe do not apply to him than to define attributes we feel certain do apply to him.
Creationism.
God is not a human being. Never was. He has no sexual orientation, as he is not a person. He cannot have sex. The second part of your question doesn't even make sense as I can not figure out what you even mean. So, I revert back to my original point. God is not a human being, he doesn't need anything to define him, or "make" what he is, and he made everything including thought. He doesn't need to think about anything.
