Dowsing rods of all makes work in the vibrational pull of all things in the universe.
Brass dowsing rods are L shaped rods that usually have a sleeve that the "handles" fit within.
The sleeves are grasped loosely in the hands of the dowser. The short part of the rods fir within the sleeves and the long parts of the rods extend in front of the dowser's body, more or less parallel with the ground and oriented straight forward from the dowser's body.
A question is asked or the "search" is expressed and the dowser moves slowly forward.
As the Dowser's body comes closer to the "object of the search" the rods will start to swing in the sleeves. When you are directly over the object the rods should cross.
The process is a bit more complex than I have described, but that is the basics of how they work.
The "expert answer" by V.A. Nicholsson is nonsense. There's no such thing as "the vibrational pull of all things in the universe." Google "pseudoscience" for more information.
No If it was yours to begin with, it might be possible to use dowsing rods or a pendulum to find it.
Many people believe in dowsing because they do not believe in the supernatural. Scientific studies conducted on dowsing indicate that it does not work.
There is no scientific evidence to support the idea that dowsing rods can accurately detect underground water sources. The movement of dowsing rods is likely influenced by involuntary muscle movements of the dowser rather than any external forces related to underground water.
Short answer is, they don't. Long answer is they rely on the ideomotor effect. It is so easy to move the rod that even barely noticeable movements will effect the direction it turns. Basically the user of the rod is subconsciously guiding it themselves.
Divining or dowsing rods are used by many people. They are most commonly associated with people dowsing for water, but can be used to find any number of other things including but not exclusively to answers, graves, lost things, and treasure.
First you open your bag and then press the key items part. Then you touch the dowsing machine then you got it to work!(you have to get the dream mist for fellet first) :).
They mostly try to communicate with their loved ones (by either, E.V.P.s, Ouija boards, dowsing rods, and other ways.)
One can purchase brass stair rods at many local stores including Lowe's and Home Depot. One can also purchase them online at eBay, Amazon, Signature Hardware, and other online stores.
Using dowsing rods (apparently this works), an electronic device that looks for minerals in the water, and generally, if you head downhill, water will be found.
Dowsing is the art of "finding" by use of an instrument. You can "find" water, lost objects, things in the ground (including graves, treasure, pipes, etc), answers, and information, just to name a few. The instruments can be a willow forked branch, bent wire rods, a pendulum, or even your hands. Dowsing is one of the oldest "mysteries" of man, and anyone who can "witch water" is considered a go friend to the farmers.
The dowsing machine is on the pokewalker.
