The questions concerning Cleopas are interesting. The account is written in Luke 24 and occurs after Jesus Christ's Crucifixion. The accounts of Jesus Christ appearing after his death are very difficult for some to grasp. This is due to the fact that most humans think in the context of the flesh human existence, thinking neither prior nor post that condition, even though biblical text mentions both.

Cleopas was sad because he had considered Jesus Christ only in the human existence and now he was Crucified, his faith therefore in Jesus Christ as Immanuel (Isaiah 7:14) had been shaken. Jesus Christ restored that faith by relating to Cleopas the scriptures which proclaimed exactly the situation and conditions Jesus Christ was to experience as proclaimed in prophecy. An example of this type of prophecy related to Jesus Christ is Psalm 22, which describes specifically his Crucifixion, written one thousand years prior to its occurrence.
Further discussion:
Cleopas had considered Jesus Christ as the savior of Israel in flesh context only. Thinking Jesus Christ would go out before all Israel to destroy Rome and set Israel to its former glory in the flesh, which was not the intent. Second Peter 3, identifies three earth iterations, only the second (now) being in the context of flesh humans. The first earth iteration and the final earth iteration (3rd) are both in the context of a spiritual existence (the soul in a heavenly body). Paul discusses this in great length in First Corinthians 15.

Something more permanent therefore must exist, in that spiritual realm to which our Soul returns after flesh death. That realmwas affected by Satan in the first earth iteration however, Jesus Christ defeated Satan, therefore Satan has no power over the eternity (3rd earth iteration), as he is destroyed at the end of this second iteration (Revelation 20-21).

Mark 8:31
And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.
Mark 14
We heard him say, I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and within three days I will build another made without hands.
1 Peter 3 - Nails the context of this conversation down
15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
16 Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.
17 For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.
18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
19 By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison;
20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.
21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:
22 Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.
They became convinced that Jesus was the Messiah, who the prophets of old had promised would come.
He was born the messiah
He believed Jesus was the awaited Messiah
Luke was a companion of Paul, and not a apostle.
Become a musketeer and complete the storyline quests to Blood Shoals. This companion is only available to musketeers.
While there are some advantages of allowing companion animals in the workplace, there are some disadvantages to this as well. Companion animals do not always understand their owners change in temperament and can become confused. They can cause distractions and become hurt as well.
Another answer from our community:Christians don't want to "argue" that Jesus is the Messiah. They maintain that He is because they believe the Bible truly reveals that He is.
